Letter from the President

Hello Everyone,

On behalf of the Park Place 1 Board of Directors, welcome to our new community website!   This website is intended to provide owners with easy access to community information including announcements, reports and surveys, meeting minutes and Association documents.  It also links to Metropolis’ platform for paying assessments online, checking balances and retrieving documents for refinancing and resales.  Keep in mind that the website is a work in progress and will be continually updated.  If you have any ideas or suggestions, please go to the “Contact Us” page and submit your ideas! 

 

Please note that the operation of the Park Place 1 Condominium Association is governed by a Board of volunteer directors. The Board of Directors is elected by the community to oversee the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the Association. The Board is also responsible for maintaining members’ compliance with the established bylaws of the Association.  The 2016 Board of Directors is comprised of the following individuals:

To date, this has been a challenging year both in terms of management challenges and confirming the need for extensive and costly repairs throughout the community based on multiple engineer inspections.  However, with the transition to Metropolis, the Board believes that it is well positioned to develop and advance a comprehensive plan that will address the necessary maintenance and preventative needs over time and in a realistic fashion for all nine buildings that compose Park Place 1 as well as the surrounding common elements.

Through this website, the Board of Directors is making every effort to keep owners informed and up to date on all matters concerning Park Place 1 as we believe open and informative communication to be very important.  In addition, newsletters will be sent out periodically.  We are also actively seeking volunteers to support Board committees.  Please remember that the best time to provide input and make an impact on community decisions is during the planning stages. 

 

The Board of Directors’ meetings occur monthly on the third Tuesday at 7pm at the clubhouse.  Please join us.  We look forward to working together with you to make Park Place the best it can be!
